What we collect
A common Canada Hols account can hold your email address, public name, verification status and separate road and ski preferences. Trip reports can include travel dates, resort, ability level, group type, words and photographs. Contributions remain private until reviewed.
Why we use it
We use account information to provide sign-in, protect the community, review submissions and communicate about your account or reports. Ski and road marketing choices are recorded separately.
Services and security
IONOS hosts the WordPress sites. Verified accounts, expiring form tokens, rate limits and private review protect contributions; Cloudflare Turnstile may add protection to public forms. Public maps request tiles from OpenStreetMap. Account sign-in may securely pass between canadahols.com and canadaskihols.com.

Ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability by emailing hello@canadaskihols.com. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

Travel links and anonymous counts
When you choose an Expedia link, you leave Canada Ski Hols through Expedia’s referral service. The link identifies our referral relationship and the accommodation area or arrival airport selected. The destination receives an ordinary browser request and may receive our site origin as its referrer. We do not add your account identity, email, private notes or travel dates to these links.
To understand whether the travel link pilot helps visitors, we keep daily aggregate totals for visible accommodation or flight gateway options, options that receive a click, and clicks through to Expedia. Labels are limited to the page section, resort and accommodation area or airport. The counter is intended for signed-out use; signed-in visitors are excluded where detectable. It uses no analytics cookies, persistent visitor identifiers or account profiles. Counts describe page interactions, not unique people or confirmed bookings.
We use these totals under our legitimate interests in understanding and improving the site. They are kept for up to 400 days. The server processes ordinary request details to deliver requests and limit abuse; the counters do not retain raw network addresses or full referral URLs. Our existing rights and contact information above also apply to this activity.
Expedia may use its own referral tracking and cookies after you follow a link, subject to its notices and consent choices. No Expedia widget or tracking script loads on our pages.
